Ken Skutt's Grandson Zach, proudly showing off his Grandpa's Car
1955 Chevy
Stats:
OWNER: Ken Skutt
ENGINE: 327 Engine, 5-Speed Transmission
Ken Skutt is a State Trooper in Massachussetts with a passion for vintage cars. He purchased this 1955 Chevy in 2005 in Arizona.
The car had been restored in 1996 by the previous owner, but still needed a little work. He put a center console in, had it repainted, and had a local airbrush artist do a couple of personalized '50s inspired murals under the hood. Also under the hood was a bunch of old faded aluminum, so he found Ogden Chrome online and sent his parts to us to be chromed.
The car is now finished, and Ken spends most of his Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays participating in local "Cruise Nights" with his three-year-old grandson Zach.
Thanks to Ken for letting us feature him, and check out the pictures below for more details on this outstanding vehicle!
Update: Ken just sent us a note about his last job:
I want to take this time to thank everyone at Ogden Chrome for all the hard work put into this beautiful bumper, it really finishes the car off. I have had more compliments about the workmanship and how nice the chrome is. Keep up the great work. I'm 100% plus satisfied. Again Thank You. Ken
