1968 Ford Mustang

"The Boss"

If you have been to the Ogden Chrome booth at any of the bigger shows, you may have seen this 1968 Ford Mustang there. The car is owned by Devan Glissmeyer, and he's nice enough to let us show it off on occasion. Our good friend Dave Kindig built this car from the ground up and it's one of the most extraordinary vehicles we've ever had the privelege of chroming!

This vehicle has won many awards, including the Ogden Chrome Choice Award at the 2009 Ultimate Air Affair!

ENGINE: Small Block Ford 434 ci with ATI Procharger with Intercooler, 992 HP

DRIVETRAIN: Tremec 6 Speed, Currie Ford  9” Rear End

CHASSIS: Art Morrison, customized by Kindig-It Design, Four Link Rear, Wilwood brakes, 6 Piston with 14.5” Rotors, custom built stainless exhaust with selectable Zoomies
interior: Custom Dyed Basketball Orange Leather by JS Custom Interiors, modified 2005 Mustang dash with Krist Kustoms seats

Body & PAINT: Porsche White base  with gray stripes, orange pin stripes to match interior TIRES & WHEELS: Front: Intro 20x8.5”, Pirelli 245/35/20 Tires, Rear: Intro 24x14.5” Pirelli 405/25/24 Tires.

SPECIAL FEATURES: Full hand fabricated front fascia, rockers, trunk lid, slivered bumpers, full belly pan, Kindig-It-Design smooth door handles. Shaved drip rails, hand built hood hinges. Flesh mounted led tail lights.
