Hot August Nights 2010

Hot August Nights is the biggest event Ogden Chrome does all year. Last year was a great success and we decided to come back this year and do everything we could to keep showgoers entertained on all levels. We had two great cars in our booth, Bill Williams' '32 Roadster and Kindig's newest design, the 1967 Camaro. Every hour we fired these babies up and had ENGINE WARS! We'd love to tell you who won, but honestly, the cars were so loud we're still trying to recover our hearing! There is great video of this event on our video page, so check that out!

Our two biggest events at the show were the Makeover with Kindig-It Contest and Airbrushing by Craig Fraser. These two events created a huge buzz and drew huge crowds. We are eternally grateful to Dave Kindig and Craig Fraser for participating in this show with us. They are both amazingly talented artists and we are honored to have been able to collaborate with them show off their work.

The Makeover with Kindig-It Contest was a chance for five winners to have Dave Kindig do an artistic rendering of their show cars. They also won a $500 Gift Certificate for Ogden Chrome and various other gifts. This was a great opportunity all the way around; we had a great time and the winners tell us they did too! We were so lucky to have World-Renowned Airbrush Artist Craig Fraser of Kal Kustoms in our booth airbrushing, well, everything! Craig is an amazingly talented artist, and the pictures you will see definitely prove that. He went well and above, painting t-shirts and tattoos on our guests and staff. He also did several pieces of artwork, including a Tribute to Hot August Nights, Airbrushing our Mini-Snowmobile, and painting the Ogden Chrome T-Shirt on a live model!
