Larry Brooks' 1931 Ford Model A

We had Larry Brooks' 1931 Ford Model A in our booth on Thursday, August 5th. This is what he had to say about the experience:
On Hot August Nights:
"It's always a great experience. I've been bringing my car to HAN since 1998. There are so many cars and it's amazing to see over 175,000 people gathered in one place."
On the Makeover with Kindig-It Contest:
"I first saw Dave's work at SEMA, but this was my first time meeting him. It was an awesome experience, definitely a highlight, pure pleasure. He's a wonderful guy, personable, nice, down to earth. Oh my gosh does he have a talent! There is a big difference between just a designer and a designer/builder, which Dave is. Also being a builder makes for a better designer. He was able to see my car in three dimensions and I was so impressed by that. He originally designed my car with no fenders, but I like fenders, so he redesigned the car and in order to get a better perspective, he started drawing a top-view of the car! I was hugely impressed. He was really fun. "
On Ogden Chrome:
"The booth had a nice setup, great cars that attracted people. I was amazed by how much the Ogden Chrome Bell was going off, people were buying T-Shirts left and right! There was lots of traffic in the booth, in fact, a lot more traffic in your booth than any of the other booths I visited."
"Ogden Chrome was awesome. Absolutely wonderful. I got to the booth early at 9am and started with Dan. He instantly made me feel comfortable, like I was being welcomed into a family. They gave me a sandwich and a soda, and my friends were treated the same. I talked to everyone who worked the booth, they were all genuine, personable and friendly. I spent five hours are the booth and everyone had wonderful things to say about the company and the staff and Dan's leadership. They really did make me feel comfortable and special."
"I have been dealing with a well-known chrome plater local to me in Sacramento, and I can tell you that Ogden Chrome will be my plater forever now. I want to do business with the genuine people I met in that booth! It was my privelege going through this experience with you guys!"
